This Indigenous Literacy Day, student authors travelled all the way to Tubowgule where the Sydney Opera House sits, to celebrate their book at the Indigenous Literacy Day Livestreamed Event.

A stunning picture book about a little girl and her daily life amid the changing seasons on Ngaanyatjarra Country in Western Australia. This is me. I live on the country my family walked for generations before me. Mum said I was born in Pirriya-Pirriya time, when the sweet flowers were growing … Every season brings something special. Rain, Wind, Fire, Sun. My Country changes, but it’s always home.
